CKRAVI Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Here are the latest updates: 8:15 pm: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Visakhapatnam on Tuesday to review the situation in the aftermath of Cyclone Hudhud that has left a trail of destruction in the area. 6:56 pm: Andhra Pradesh power utilities are putting efforts to restore power supply which was disrupted due to the devastation caused by cyclonic storm Hudhud in Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts. 6:30 pm: Cyclonic storm Hudhud, which hit the Andhra Pradesh coast on Sunday, has claimed 21 lives in the state, officials said. The worst-hit Visakhapatnam district accounts for 15 deaths. Five people were killed in Vijayanagaram district and one person died in Srikakulam district. Prakala Prabhakar, advisor (communications) to the state government told reporters on Monday evening that majority of deaths occurred due to falling of trees. The authorities had Sunday put the toll at 5.

It sure will, We also have to appreciate the Naval department for all the help they provided and also how effective they were to get the naval base up and running within 12 hours of the cyclone mayhem..
