Actress-turned-director Renu Desai, who happens to be the ex-wife of Pawan Kalyan, set the record straight that she has "right" to use Pawan Kalyan's name. Renu said, "Yes, I've right to use his (Pawan Kalyan's) name. Whenever I need help, he is definitely there to help me."

Renu further said, "Pawan is so happy that I'm doing things on my own. He complimented me for my work and wants me to continue the same way. He told me that I should be proud of myself when I look back at my life after 10 to 15 years and everyone around me should be proud of myself. Pawan told me to fight on my own until I gets stuck. Whenever I'm in need he is there for me. Even if my film is stuck due to release problem, he will be the first person I'm going to call."

Renu's directorial debut Ishq Wala Love, dubbed into Telugu, is slated for release on October 24.
Renu clarifies that the film has no where in connection with her personal life and said that the family is a youthful entertainer.
