Position:  SQL DBA

Location: Little Rock, AR

Duration: Full time/8+ months

 

Qualifications:

·         Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration experience (3+ years), managing multiple MS SQL 2000,2005, 2008,2012 instances.

·         Experience in data modeling and design including strong knowledge of SQL (T-SQL & ANSI SQL)
Thorough knowledge of data backup/recovery/rollback

·         Hands-on replication server knowledge (setup and troubleshooting) SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008,2012 optimization, fine-tuning, and scalability techniques.

·         Data security and strong knowledge of network architecture and topology.

·         Large-scale data migration experience (SQL Server 2000 - 2005) DBA certification (i.e. MCDBA or otherwise) a plus.

·         Experience/knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts a plus.

·         Experience in a fast-paced web development environment a strong plus

·         Familiarity with MySQL, UDB on LUW and PostgreSQL a plus.

 

 

Skill Set:

·         7 Years in SQL DBA

·         4 Years in T-SQL & ANSI SQL

·         4 Years in SQL Server 2000,2005, 2008, 2012

·         4 Years in Large-scale data migration experienceRequired

·         4 Years  in Server 2008/2012 optimizationRequired
