friends, i bought a phone from my friend who came from UK(Samsung S4), he said he isn't sure if phone is locked r unlocked, the box is not yet open, HOW can i know if it unlocked-locked, how much will it cost me to unlock in hyderabad...please do help me..thanks

HOW can i know if it unlocked-locked - open the box and insert indian sim ( your local sim ) , if you get network and able to send/ receive calls , its unlocked if not , its locked .

 

 how much will it cost me to unlock in hyderabad- its  cheaper for samsung phones . According to my knowledge , it should not cost you more than 1500-2000

HI without using a sim we can't tell that whether the galaxy s4 is locked or not so first try to use the phone with your sim card if it accepts it then it is unlocked one else if it displays any messages like sim invalid ,sim lock and so on once you insert your sim in it then it is sure your samsung galaxy s4 mobile is locked to some other network provider in Uk due to this it wont accept any other GSM sim until you unlock it ...You can easily unlock your phone using sites like Unlock-Zone.com here they are rendering network unlock code for all mobile models at reliable cost .You first check that whether the code is available for your country and network provider .If yes then pay for it and unlock your phone then freely use it with any GSM sim in Hydrabad ......
