It is already known that Legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao who breathed his last this year got honored by the US Department of Postal Services as they published a special commemorative postal stamp on the actor's name. Termed as the rarest of the rare achievement, whole of Telugu associations in USA felt proud about the happening. And here comes that stamp.

Nagarjuna has earlier said that he will write letters from USA to his friends in India such that they will witness this 'legendary' postal stamp. Probably, Prasad Thotakura, President of Akkineni Foundation Of America has taken inspiration from Nag's words. He wrote a letter, via airmail, to Akkineni's daughter and Nag's sister Susheela using ANR's 49 cents stamp. The image of ANR from 'Manam' was featured on this stamp anyway, and that pose happens to be the last time this legend posed for the camera before he succumbed to cancer.
