That's my CM. Can any CM in India compete with using phrases like that. Think about CBN. Can he speak english or even Telugu with such command? How blessed is TN to have two awesome people Karunanidhi and JJ. No wonder, its among the best states in India. Sad that good things won't last forever. :(

Krish Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 since when language proficiency become one of the requirements to become CM...for that matter a good CM??

Hyderabad can't even be compared to Chennai. Bangalore has a decent case for comparison with Chennai, with IT revenues. But is still behind Chennai and always will be. It doesn't matter what the overpaid IT employees think. There are other people in the world too, much higher in number. And this is, inspite of almost no natural water resources in and around Chennai. populist schemes antava.. It will create a new generation of decently skilled population, so non-tamils have even more of a chance to show their hatred for those 'black' tamils who infiltrate every field and talk nonsense about tamil pride and such :) TN is on the verge of becoming something great. It would have happened sooner if TN wasn't held back by India. 1
gargicau Posted October 19, 2014 Author Report Posted October 19, 2014 she was well prepared in jail to give this statement, Its not spontaneous. that she can say this without sounding silly is where her awesomeness lies. ofcourse Karunanidhi is better at this in Tamil, than JJ in English.
gargicau Posted October 19, 2014 Author Report Posted October 19, 2014 since when language proficiency become one of the requirements to become CM...for that matter a good CM?? ever since being a theoretical physicist or neuroscientist wasn't a necessary condition to become a CM. usage of a language (english or anything) is a decent indicator (not the only indicator) of someone's intelligence.

Sorry...I can't agree on that..... if that's the case all the language studying people must be rich by now...or successful in someway...
gargicau Posted October 19, 2014 Author Report Posted October 19, 2014 sorry...I can't agree on that..... if that's the case all the language studying people must be rich by now...or successful in someway... are all intelligent people rich? :) are all rich people intelligent or just happened to be at the right place or were born to the right people? some people are street smart too, yeah. but language is one of the most complicated skills humans can master. after the sciences.

How blessed is TN to have two awesome people Karunanidhi and JJ. No wonder, its among the best states in India. Sad that good things won't last forever. :( You and your stupid logic. Comparing Jayalalitha with CBN? If you think that English is qualification, ask her to apply for a English teacher position, not the CM. CBN has studied in the ordinary publish schools in a village. You know where she studied. Usage of the language is not the indicator of intelligence. Even if she is intelligent, she used her intelligence to stash the billions of rupees and ended up in the jail. So intelligent, isn't it? Just like yours?
Krish Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 are all intelligent people rich? :) are all rich people intelligent or just happened to be at the right place or were born to the right people? some people are street smart too, yeah. but language is one of the most complicated skills humans can master. after the sciences. Of course...rich people are intelligent....show me one self made rich person by sheer luck...except the lottery winners... so u telling me....riches is mostly due to luck...that's a lame logic... inheritance from ancestors is a different story....lets talk about people who rose to fame in their lifetime...
