If you think that English is qualification, ask her to apply for a English teacher position, not the CM. CBN has studied in the ordinary publish schools in a village. You know where she studied. Usage of the language is not the indicator of intelligence. Even if she is intelligent, she used her intelligence to stash the billions of rupees and ended up in the jail. So intelligent, isn't it? Just like yours? haha...

Everyone's the same here. CBN no exception. Also JJ is a woman in a male dominated political setup. Ofcourse she had to be super brainy to hop over everyone to the top. Everyone knows what a spectacle CBN made out of himself and his party before he became CM.

gargicau Posted October 19, 2014 Author Report Posted October 19, 2014 Of course...rich people are intelligent....show me one self made rich person by sheer luck...except the lottery winners... so u telling me....riches is mostly due to luck...that's a lame logic... inheritance from ancestors is a different story....lets talk about people who rose to fame in their lifetime... again what you are referring to is street smartness. not intelligence. depending on your definition of 'rich', plenty of people with less intelligence have made lots of money within one lifetime. eg. real estate investors,avg engineers who became industrialists with access to industrial tech borrowed from west, etc. Also it seems a little silly to talk of rich being technically intelligent in a country like India, which has added almost nothing to modern scientific knowledge. The only intelligence in India seems to come from the arts, literature, and political landscape.

The only intelligence in India seems to come from the arts, literature, and political landscape. I don't see street smart as negative trait....infact it is one of the hardest skills to acquire....u have to see the negative side of life to get it... you and me don't have the exact equipment to measure the intelligence level of some one....but still as u said...the art of money making.... requires intelligence.....whether it's too high or too low...but it has to be there... Since all the best brains are migrating to foreign countries for better life...how can india compete with big guys like US, UK...but I believe we are still doing a good job.. you still haven't given me any solid reason.....how can one make money with out being intelligent??

And thats why she has been to prison and will be going again in another 2 months.

Bangalore has a decent case for comparison with Chennai, with IT revenues. But is still behind Chennai and always will be. It doesn't matter what the overpaid IT employees think. There are other people in the world too, much higher in number. And this is, inspite of almost no natural water resources in and around Chennai. populist schemes antava.. It will create a new generation of decently skilled population, so non-tamils have even more of a chance to show their hatred for those 'black' tamils who infiltrate every field and talk nonsense about tamil pride and such :) TN is on the verge of becoming something great. I agree, existence of 3 ports around chennai, and one close to it in Nellore is why Chennai can't be beaten by bangalore or Hyderabad in the near future. my criteria for evaluation: industrial rental space in chennai is twice expensive compared to bangalore, and Hyderabad. And that's inspite of huge capacity compared to these two cities. conclusion: Hyd, Blr, fit for IT. Chennai, all rounder. as for gdp figures, they are unreliable at the local level for many reasons. nevertheless, compare chennai metro size too... hyd is about 3-4 times bigger than chennai. bangalore about the same. Chennai and TN is also highly taxed compared to AP/TG/KA. which also makes it double awesome. Chennai has better infra.. okay I said this already about industrial spaces. :) okay..chennai doesn't lag behind anyone. even economically. Only problem with Chennai is lack of water. Blr is a nice competition, but Hyd is nowhere compared to Chennai. Anyway its good that there are 3 awesome cities close to each other. I only feel bad when Chennai gets bad rep everytime, inspite of no incidence of bashing outsiders (like in bangalore) or being attacked by terrorists (hyderabad).
