But life was not a bed of roses for his girl. There was a time when she was dating Salman Khan and she says it was nothing short of a nightmare.

 

“Men invariably want sex from women. When I came into films, I was very naïve and believed that all men were not like that. That was also the time when I developed friendship with Salman Khan. What started out as friendship, became an affair. I didn’t have the maturity I have right now and believed that he was the man for me.

 

But he took my life for granted and totally controlled it. He started imposing restrictions on me. Then I saw his sadistic side and he showed me hell on earth. From a boyfriend, he became a villain. That’s when I took a conscious decision to walk out of the relationship and take control of my life.

 

I would be scared for some time, but I realized that he would not touch me anymore. I guess all beautiful girls go through similar experiences like me. So, it is important to be very careful. Boyfriend is just a myth. Husband is reality,” says the leading actress.
