KadapaKing1
Same situation naaku 5 months back aiyindi. so horrible ga untundi tooth pain. Most of insurance companies will cover tooth pain esp root canal after 1 year of plan start date. This will differ on type of plan as well as the plan which you take from employer. I paid 1200 dollar for my root canal treatment. apart from that I paid 90 dollars for consulting fee. My point is if you take good dental coverage with one year wait period will cost you around 2000 dollars (including deductable + 1 year insurance). So instead of paying 2000 for insurance better to pay 1300 to doctor directly which you always can negotiate. Sorry, if this advice is negative, but this is fact. I would recommend you to have dental insurance in future, I can understand most of our desi companies wont have dental plans but in this case we need to go in less cost route. Finally ga chepalante, paying 1300 is better than having insurance (differs in type of plans available in market)..
erragulabi
It depends on the place. It will cost you around 2000+ dollars. If you don't want pay, you can pull the tooth out for 200 dollars. If you want to go, visit some chinese doctors.
KadapaKing1
and one more point .. if you are looking root canal specialist.. dont go for regular dentist... look for Endodontics specialist.. other wise normal dentist will charge you extra 50 - 100 bucks and will refer you to endodontics specialist
