The TRS MLAs are going to stage a Dharna at 12 noon today at Ambedkar Statue of Tank Bund to protest Chandrababu's decision on Srirailam power. Police personal of the two states have also been deployed at Srisailam Project as a precautionary measure. Trouble started when AP Govt has asked TS government to stop the generation of power from left bank power station. The AP government has already stopped the power generation so that drinking water would be available for Rayalaseema region. TS government has strongly opposed the TDP government's demand and said that it is making a deliberate attempt to stop power generation.

The attack was made protesting AP CM Chandrababu Naidu's decision to stop the power production in Srisailam power project. The TRS activists saw Chandrababu's move in stopping power generation as one of the conspiracies against Telangana government. Irate TRS activists damaged the furniture in the TDP office and burnt it. Police force, which has been alerted, rushed to the stop and arrested some of the TRS activists.

The attacks were made in protest against AP CM Chandrababu Naidu's notice to stop power production in Srisailam power project. The TRS activists have burnt Chandrababu' effigies besides destroying the furniture in TDP offices. The activists raised slogans against TDP and Chandrababu and said that the power crisis in Telengana is due to TDP Govt's actions. "They are making efforts to stop the power supply to Telangana," TRS leaders alleged.

They damaged furniture and set the office on fire. In response to the destruction caused to the TDP Office, Chandrababu lashed out at Telangana government for spreading rumors that he is biased on the issue. He reminded that TDP was responsible for the development of Telangana and promised to provide surplus power to Telangana. Earlier, this morning, Chandra babu inaugurated Farmer Empowerment Corporation in Gannavaram, Krishna district.
