It written letter to center that TS is not following rules and regulations in terms of water usage of Srisailam. It asked the center to intervene and and solve the issue. AP irrigation department has also sent the letter copy to T Govt. AP and Telangana are at loggerheads over the issue of power generation in Srisailam Project. It is known that AP Govt has asked TS government to stop the generation of power from left bank power station for which TS government replied in negative.
timmy Posted October 21, 2014 Author Report Posted October 21, 2014 టీఎస్ ప్రభుత్వంపై కేంద్రానికి ఫిర్యాదు చేసిన ఏపీ ఇరిగేషన్ శాఖ 03:02 PM తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వంపై ఏపీ నీటి పారుదల శాఖ కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి ఫిర్యాదు చేసింది. శ్రీశైలం ప్రాజెక్టు నీటి వినియోగంలో నిబంధనలు, ఒప్పందాలకు కేసీఆర్ ప్రభుత్వం తూట్లు పొడుస్తోందని ఆరోపిస్తూ, కేంద్రానికి లేఖ రాసింది. ఈ వ్యవహారంలో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం వెంటనే జోక్యం చేసుకోవాలని... తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని కట్టడి చేయాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేసింది. లేఖ కాపీని తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర నీటి పారుదల శాఖకు కూడా పంపింది.
timmy Posted October 21, 2014 Author Report Posted October 21, 2014 ఏపీ ఫిర్యాదుపై కృష్ణా రివర్ బోర్డు స్పందన 05:21 PM శ్రీశైలం జలాలపై ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం చేసిన ఫిర్యాదుపై కృష్ణా రివర్ బోర్డు స్పందించింది. ఈ మేరకు తెలంగాణ నీటిపారుదల ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శికి కృష్ణా బోర్డు కార్యదర్శి ఆర్కే గుప్తా లేఖ రాశారు. జీవో-69, 107 ప్రకారం నీటి యాజమాన్య పద్ధతులు పాటించాలని లేఖలో పేర్కొన్నారు.

Pointing out that proper usage of water available in Krishna river at Srisailam and Pulichinthala projects is needed to solve the problems of farmers. Uma said there has been no response from the Irrigation Minister of Telangana Harish Rao so far over his proposal despite several reminders by him. He asserted that his aim is to solve the problems of farmers of both AP and Telangana. He also promised to provide power to Telangana.
