నవ్యాంధ్రప్రదేశ్ కొత్త రాజధానిగా తుళ్లూరు మండలం ఎంపికైంది. గుంటూరు జిల్లా తాడికొండ అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గంలోని తుళ్లూరు మండల పరిధిలోనే కొత్త రాజధానిని ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ఏపీ సీఎం చంద్రబాబునాయుడు శనివారం నాటి పార్టీ ఎంపీల భేటీ సందర్భంగా దాదాపుగా తుది నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. 

తుళ్లూరు కు కేవలం ఐదు కిలో మీటర్ల దూరంలోనే కృష్ణా నది ప్రవహిస్తోంది. ఇక కొత్తగా రాజధాని ఏర్పాటు కాబోయే తుళ్లూరు, అమరావతికి 20 కిలో మీటర్ల దూరంలో ఉంది. విజయవాడకు 25 కీలో మీటర్లు, గుంటూరుకు 33 కిలో మీటర్ల దూరంలో తుళ్లూరు ఉంది. ఇక జాతీయ రహదారిపై ఉన్న మంగళగిరికి తుళ్లూరు కేవలం 20 కిలో మీటర్ల దూరంలోనే ఉంది. దీంతో అన్ని రకాలుగా తుళ్లూరు మండలమే కొత్త రాజధానికి అనువుగా ఉందని చంద్రబాబు ప్రభుత్వం అభిప్రాయపడింది. మండలంలోని 30 వేల ఎకరాల విస్తీర్ణంలో కొత్త రాజధానిని ఏర్పాటు చేసేందుకు త్వరలో కసరత్తు మొదలు కానుంది.

రాష్ట్ర విభజన నేపథ్యంలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ కు కొత్త రాజధాని నిర్మాణానికి తెరలేచింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో కొత్త రాజధాని చుట్టుపక్కల ప్రాంతాల్లో భూ క్రయవిక్రయాలు భారీగా పెరిగాయి. దీనిని క్యాష్ చేసుకునేందుకు చంద్రబాబు సర్కారు కూడా రంగంలోకి దిగింది. భూ వినియోగ మార్పిడి కోసం దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్నవారు ఇకపై భూమి విలువలో పది శాతాన్ని ఫీజుగా చెల్లించాల్సి ఉంటుంది. 

ఇదివరకు ఈ ఫీజు 5 శాతం మాత్రమే ఉంది. రాష్ట్ర ఆర్థిక శాఖ మంత్రి యనమల రామకృష్ణుడు శనివారం సచివాలయంలో ఆదాయ వనరుల సేకరణపై ఉన్నతాధికారులతో బేటీ అయ్యారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా భూ వినియోగ మార్పిడి ఫీజులు రెట్టింపు చేయాలని మంత్రి తీర్మానించినట్లు సమాచారం. సేల్ డీడ్లు, భూదానాలపై వసూలు చేస్తున్న 1 శాతం ఫీజును కూడా రెట్టింపు చేస్తూ 2 శాతాన్ని వసూలు చేయాలని నిర్ణయించారు. రాష్ట్రంలో గనుల లీజులను కూడా పెంచాలని మంత్రి నిర్ణయించినట్లు సమాచారం.

AP government is likely to carryout the projects related with AP capital in Guntur district.AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, who held a meet with party cadre and officials on Oct 25th have learnt to come to conclusion that Thullur mandal comprising of 14 villages are ideal for the formation of AP capital due to easy availabilty of the land. Thullur is situated at a distance of 5 kms from Krishna river. From Thullur to Vijayawada and Guntur, two roads are there linking with national highways. It has well connectivity with Thadepalli and Mangalagiri as well.
