Don’t disrespect the Chief Minister’s Chair!

The Special 3-member Committee probing the ban on two Telugu channels submitted its report to the Press Council of India. The report contains scathing remarks on KCR and has suggested that in his capacity as Chief Minister he has deliberately and willfully made threats to browbeat the media so that it would not critically scrutinize his policies, programmes and actions and only fabricate positive stories about him. The committee in its report also suggested that the State should not discriminate against journalists on the grounds of nativity and for the reason that they are writing or presenting information for the good of people.
