US has a huge tax problem, of taxing very less. yeah thats there ..... also , the top 1% of the population pays abt 50% of all the taxes in the US .... the gap between the rich and poor is so damnn high

Not all parts though. you can see a clear difference in public transit standards. US is on its way down. The only attractive thing about US is low taxes. and opportunites for tax fraud, like many sole propreitorship around California engage in. and the weather.

Can't they take a train or bus?

Can't they take a train or bus? actually not many people drive to work in SFO ... many tech companies have their own bus services for their employees and a vast majority of people take the BART , its decently good

The north east seems to be connected via some kind of transit, but its so slow and needs upgrade.

Its easier in europe than in the US. unless you are in NY or SFO. or any other cities I may not know about.
