donganaaK Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 okay, what about other cities? The north east seems to be connected via some kind of transit, but its so slow and needs upgrade. yeah north east is really well connected . I'm not talking of eurorail, but traveling btwn cities within a country. Its easier in europe than in the US. unless you are in NY or SFO. or any other cities I may not know about. oh ok i got it now ...
tom bhayya Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 I guess, US' size is a limiting factor for building its infrastructure. but do so many drive to san francisco for work, say from some of the suburbs 20-30 kms away? Can't they take a train or bus? in us u have public transit limited to only very few cities...us lo car lekapothey neeku legs lenattey for 90% places.. public transport govt maintains just to promote commuting but major cities lo thappa verey places lo occupancy will be 30%
