All ideologies that survive without change for that long tend to be theocratic.

 

Hindu scriptures too, unless added to, will sound absurd without favourable interpretation.

 

But Hindu scriptures don't attract low class morons, because even interpretations are complicated by design.

 

Its best to ban Islam, until its interpreters find a consensus narrative that is reflective of the modern world.
