Bhayya.. Maa friend gaadu okadu ... Nov 7th ki ravali usa ki .. Kaani vaadiki .. Leg injury ayyuindhi not threating but rest needed .. So ippudu ticket cancellation cheyichukunte ... Tappadhaa.. Amt pay cheyadam ??

Vaadi agent emo.. Around $400 antunnadu ..
Any suugestion/ideas please .. In future lo ilantivi jaragakundaa em cheyaalo chepte .. Mem jagratta padutham ...

Direct airlines dagara book chesukunte,,,, emergency doctor appointment undi ante they will cancel without any fee,,,,, agency ite no idea whether it works or not

Why cancel , post pone the trip , usually charges are around 80 dollars  for AIR india

The best option is to take trip insurance (which will be around 2 to 5% of the ticket value) and cancel the ticket 24 hrs before travel..and later claim from the insurance caompany showing valid reasons for trip cancellation..you will be paid $400 (or any amount) that airlines collected for cancelling the ticket !

Your agent may be right..cos you should check the fare rules while booking..usually when you book fares at lowest rates,airlines some times even says non-refundable

Check airlines with your PNR number and they will let you know the cancellation charges !
