Story:

Raju (Manoj Kumar Manchu) is a wayward youth who is in deeply love with a college English teacher Sunny (Sunny Leone) in a village called Parvathipuram. Sivarama Raju (Jagapati Babu) is a noted good Samaritan in the same village and he takes a vow that he will marry off his daughters to the grooms of his choice (neither love marriage nor elopement). Kavitha (Rakul Preet Singh) is his 3rd daughter and also a student of Sunny. As the things proceed, Raju and Kavitha fall in love. Rest of the story is all about what happens when they want to get married

Performances: Manoj's Performance is  fine in the main lead role, as always he was too good in action sequences but that build up is not required for the movie. Jagapathi Babu added value to the movie with his presence but his characterization was not that great, Rakul Preeth was okay and provided the required visual feast . Sunny Leone appears in an extended role of an item girl. Vennela Kishore and Tagubothu Ramesh were good as hero's friends. Pruthvi's comedy worked out well. Tanikella Bhrani,Katraj and others were okay.

Technical Departments:

Story-Screenplay-Direction: Story line  is very simple and wafer thin. Screenplay was adequate for the first half but could have been better for the second half. Director tried to give a comedy treatment for the movie but except for Pruthvi's track in between and few scenes in first half , comedy scenes were missing. Romance track was dealt in an ordinary way and also the conflict between Hero and Heroine's father  was not presented in a convincing manner. Neither Heroine's father does anything to change/create problems for hero nor the hero tries to get his love. First half is passable and second half is just okay, towards climax movie gets some moment but that was not enough.

Other Departments:Dialogues were okay and could have been better. Camera work was good and Editing is fine.Music by Acchu is definitely a plus point for the movie. Songs were good and background was also impressive. Action Sequences were too heavy for the content of the movie.

My Rating: 5/10

Analysis: Current Theega is a strictly okay movie. Comedy in parts worked for the movie but ordinary execution/performances letdown the movie.
