2)Watch lot of videos on youtube on american humor 

 

3)Socialize with americans ( try meetups in ur area, okcupid, rentafriend.com)

 

4)Read books ( i personally not a big fan of reading )

 

5)Most imp of all practice speaking ,talk to ur roomates n friends in English and always be curious ..google for random words

like random word generator and find several meanings so u can use them in a humorous way.

 

6)observation listening skills and confidence  is the key when u talk to people, when they makes jokes or make people laugh observe their  expressions body language and analyze their humor and situation u can use that in a different setting.Go to group work outs/tennis/ crossfit  you will meet lot of people.
