Don't believe it..

they do  hard credit check..

soft credit is only in cases when you apply for a phone/cable ,auto insurance,leasing apt,opening bank account or background checks..where there is NO lending or creditine is involved ![MEANS WHEN THERE IS NO FINANCIAL RISK IINVOLVED]

 

For all loans types lenders do hard credit check !
