Union Minister Nirmala Sitaraman has said that it is not right on part of the government or any body to restrict the dress code for women and faulted the comments of those who criticised the dress code in connection with raping incidents. She further said that gents, according to the Indian culture, should wear Dhoti and questioned the biased views on the dress code. Niramala made these comments in the ABVP session at Vijayawada.
