6 months back few of my friends shipped 3 samsung 65" curv TV from us to Hyd, it a month but it was worth it. They brought them in us around 2400 or so.. After shipping each piece costed them around 3 k I guess.

Nenu chapa kadaa... just talk to airline like 1 week before... if your lucky enough there is space in flight it will go as heavy bag paying 160 or so or else take it as cargo.... cargo process will be decided on spot when check-in ... they will make judgment based on the box W*H*L and weight of the product....

customs ? shipping problem emi antey you need to be physically present at the time of the customs ... and they will make 36% as mandatory.... at-least when u take with you its like they will let you go by taking some money .... and for shipping some one should be travelled from that country last 1 month back... and shipping can only done by fedex for 70 inch they quoted be $900... but by sea may be it will cost less...

For the TS... I sent a 55 inch tv to India through DHL. You can pay in INdia or online for the shipping person to come and collect it in from you room in US. They will ask you for the papers (bills, etc).

 

You will need to take insurance.. and make sure the box you are packing FRAGILE stickers all around the box......

 

India ki vellevi maximum first Delhi or mumbai ki velthayi... They will then contact the person in India, who is going to receive the TV regarding the tax..... India lo vunna person claim cheyachu , I have bought a USED TV (that is what I did, I did not include the bil in my cargo but wrote on the paper work that the TV costs only $300 :P .. It was $1000 at that time)..... vaalu nenu quote chesina price meedha tax vesi HYD ki pampincharu.. malla HYD lo custom vaalu aaparu... Malli call chesthe.. DELhi lo tax kattesanu ani receipt choopinchadu.... and they left it...

consider the price+ shipping costs + customs duty + loss of manufacturer warranty while thinking about this..
