i have both, but i like xbox better. Network is way better on xbox. technical details ps4 is slightly better, but, most games are pretty similar on both consoles. some games are better on xbox while some are better on ps4. Go for the one where most of your friends are.

 

Also note that, historically, xbox has more exclusive games and dlc's than ps
