but this is wht abpple is cashing. if u buy macbook now, u will feel very happy because u feel like u r in cloud 9. but once apple releases OSX update macbook becomes very slow. Apple does it intentionally. then after two yrs, u r forced to buy new macbook becoz old one becomes very slow.  there is a NYTIMES article on this. that is wht the apple success formulae.

 

Rather than that, buy mac air, costs $800, against macbook pro, costs $2500 for i5 with retina, apple care etc. Use mac air for everyday purpose. Use windows laptop with i7 for performance and as workstation.

for people like you, microsoft introduced special tool called "Performance Information and Tool" from windows 7 onwards!

 

Use it every 6 months and see difference. once u do disk cleanup and choose startup services selectively, ur pc perform a lot lot lot faster.
