Vinod Kumar has requested Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu to rename the AP Express train running between Secunderabad and New Delhi as Telangana Express. In a letter addressed to the Union Minister on Sunday, Mr. Vinod Kumar said it was unfortunate that the Railway Ministry had not changed the AP Express (No. 12723/12724) even six months after the formation of Telangana State. He noted that the train would travel entirely in Telangana before entering Maharashtra on the way to Delhi.
