friends family friends used to stay in india some 8 yrs back and and used to have bank credit card. after coming here they never used tht card anymore. but they r getting statements in their mailbox to their old mail box saying there is overdue payment of some 28000 Rs. and they have their old mnc companies mail id also in that email. they send a lawyer notice to that id saying they have to make payment.

 

will this be any problem. and they r staying in us for the past 8 yrs. how to go further pls help

ee 8 yrs lo payments emanna chesara, if not I believe its not genuiene, If I were to be a creditor, I wouldnt stay silent for 8 yrs and then send notices to the concerned parties. as simple as that, would also advise to call them and see whats goin on
