Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao seems to be in a state of deep fantasies, as is evident from the way he has been announcing fancied schemes in the name of creating Bangaru Telangana. The other day, KCR announced construction of skyscrapers all around Hussainsagar lake similar to Petronas Towers of Kuala Lumpur, including the world’s tallest statue at Sanjeevaiah Park. He even identified locations for the high-rise buildings.  He also came out with an ambitious project of constructing multiple layers of flyovers and super highways on the lines of Bangkok. He also declared that temple town of Yadagirigutta would be developed on the lines of Vatican City. On Tuesday, the Chief Minister announced that his government was planning to develop a garden similar to Brindavan in Mysore near Lower Manair Dam in Karimnagar. He said that based on the request of the State Government, the Union Ministry of Tourism have prioritised the project in 2014-15 to develop Karimnagar and surrounding places as tourism destination. Under Phase-I of the project, a Detailed Project Report with a total outlay of Rs 502.36 lakhs was submitted to the Government of India for sanction, including the development of Lower Manair Dam area. The Chief Minister said that the work would be started after the release of funds by the Central Government.
