Deepak Yalamanchi and his friends were rewarded for their hourlong wait at Mesa Arch in Utah's Canyonlands National Park with this beautiful sunrise. "It filled the place with a brilliant golden hue that was breathtaking!" he said.

 

 

 yalamd shot this photo in July 2013 while on a hiking trip with his wife and friends. 'We left very early from our campsite, around 3:30 a.m., to go to this Mesa Arch destination in the Canyonlands National Park. We got there by 5am, set up our cameras and tripods and other equipment and waited for the sun to come out patiently. It was a rather cloudy day and we were worried it might not be a bright morning. But once the sun came out after a good hour long wait, it filled the place with a brilliant golden hue that was breathtaking! One of the best sunrise experience I've ever witnessed in my entire life!'
