Of course, he is a legend not only for Telugu cinema but also for Indian cinema. Late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao does not need special introduction as he gave many sensational hits to the industry. In fact, his discipline and his punctuality are part of lore in film industry. He would maintain a strict regimen throughout his life and would get up at 4 am in the morning. He would then do exercise and yoga and eat his first meal at 6 am with various curries. Barring Saturdays and Mondays, it is said that he would eat a full chicken during lunch. After having his lunch, he would go to the sets at 7 am and once he would be done with makeup, he would eat a breakfast including idli, dosa, pongal and pesarattu at 9.30 am. Later, he would have coffee and tea from time to time before sitting down for a full lunch and conclude the meal by eating fruits. It is said that he would take a nap with a crown weighing 12 kilos when he played mythological characters as he did not like risking spoiling his make-up. Well, goes without saying that he was indeed destined for the man he was to become. And one need not say that such legendary men will be born only once.
