Go and ask them. ...tell them that you are going to cancel the account with them. They will respond immediately. Same happened to me earlier. But my salary was not being deposited in that bank. I talked to them and told them that I am going to close the account. They changed it to something called campus account, it doesn't charge anything. Salary deposit or minimum balance maintenance is not required. One more thing, they credited all the amount that they have debited from my account.
