Jhansi Rani Panda has the kind of spirit that would surely have made Laxmi Bai proud. This 19-year-old girl from Odisha's Mayurbhanj district took to driving an auto-rickshaw to overcome financial crisis in her family and pursue her higher education.
She believes in taking problems head on rather than cribbing and complaining about it.

She was mocked in the beginning because it's not a common practice here. Although it's a common practice in the developed nations to work while in school/college, in our country such person will be looked down upon or at best be sympathised with.

Let she be an example for everyone that hard work is something to be proud of. You don't necessarily have to work to fund your education, but if you decide to - do hold your head high.
