After speaking with about 20 of them last week, this is the conclusion I came to.

 

Just 1 out of 20 were concerned about RTE. Their response ranged from being enthusiastic about RTE (ultra morons) to being apathetic (law breaking morons).

 

needless to say, none of the 20 schools were RTE compliant.

 

I had a fleeting desire to start an NGO just fk these idiots, and make them close their schools, so they realise what a horrible anti-hindu legislation this RTE is.

 

The less said about parents, the better. I've never had high opinion of parents anyway.

rte is a law that binds non-minority institutions into providing education for financial disadvantages kids.

 

Its an unequal law because, it exempts minority institutions.. and the definition of minority institutions in India is that any school that has non-minority head is a non-minority institution.

 

This means that, if and when RTE is strictly imposed (now its imposed only based on random NGO complaints), Hindu kids will be forced to study under xian/muslim schools, because all the good hindu run schools will turn into crap if they follow RTE for a few years.
