This is an example of CBN’s forward thinking!

CBN’s Government does not want to be complacent after stabilizing the power situation in the State. It is making plans keeping in mind the power demand in the coming 4 years.

It is being estimated that the current power demand of 132 million units will double by 2019. For this purpose, the Government has made advanced plans to produce / purchase 16,740 MW power. Signing MoU with the Sumitomo Corporation is a step in that direction.
