Even In INDIA for the Airlines to Issue a Boarding Pass... You need to show them the return tickets for travel...If not they wont Issue your tickets... This is a General law for any Country ... The Catch here... is When Parents visit here.. we dont know when they want to return some time they want to spend more time with us than initial return dates or some times reasons back home might want them to go back.. So return ticket is a tricky part and every time we book tickets in order to modify or cancel would cost us more... So some one stated that he reserved one way tickets to his parents ...for Return he booked a ticket using C H E A P O A I R .com website for return trip... and their policy is you can cancel ticket with in 24 hours of booking... and his parents showed return tickets while boarding and at POE.. and their flight landed with in 16 hours so.. as soon as they arrived in US .. he called that website CC  and cancelled and they charged about $50 for cancelling ... which is lot much less than to reschedule a flight for return ticket...just my suggesstion... not sure if that website is still doing it ..

I think this 24 hrs cancellation is mandatory for all the airlines. Its a new rule anukunta.

correcte ...konni dependencies unnayi anduke one way ticket ...return date is aunknown now anduke.
