1. Howz the job scene in UK

Job market is really good. Both IT wise and other streams market is really good. Expecting more increase next year.

2. Tier 2 General Visa chese consultants unnara?

Consultancies chalane unnay... But evvarini namoddu ... If you know anyone personally or if you have a strong reference then goahead

3. What are the problems one might face if they land in UK with Tier 2 General

There wont be any problems. With Tier 2 you cant work anywhere except for the company who did Tier 2. aa Tier 2 chesina company meeda work cheyochu client ki.

4. How much would it cost to get the Tier 2

I dont remember the fee exactly. Fee would be around £1500. Not sure how much the company charge. It may vary.

5. What expectations does the consultants generally have who sponser Tier 2?

There wont be any expectations. When you are in UK on tier 2 you may struggle for few months. But on the long run you just apply for jobs and work. Remember you can only do CONTRACT jobs. You cant work Permanent. So basically, The Company who you are working should be willing to pay to your Tier 2 company. Does it make sense ???

I have been living and working in UK from 8 years. I was student long time ago and worked many part time jobs slowly migrated to IT now. Nenu assalu earn chesindi chaala takkuva. Life chala hard and expensive. I am 32 now. Nenu right time lo US vellunte ee patiki kaneesam oka illu konukkunevadini :( . Atleast I am married and happy now. I strongly dont recommend to choose UK on Tier 2. For the same money you can try US or Australia.

1) Generally, UK IT market is less when compared with US, Canada, etc. It also depends on technology you are in. prasthuthaaniki web developer, .net (only web) and testing meeda jobs chala unnayi compared with other technologies. But competition kuda chala untadhi from locals and PR guys.

2) neeku theliyani consultants deggaraki vellaku.not at all advised. If you want to come hear under tier 2 , nneku thelisina vallaki emaina company unte dhaani dwara try cheyi sponsorship.

3) Problems ki fullstop ledu.

firstly, from the very month you land here, you have to pay taxes. neeku job vachina... raakapoyina. Tax should be around £700/month

Next, Here consultancies are not encouraging Tier 2 candidates. They will prefer local citizens, EU citizens, PR Holders, Tier1 Visa holders then lastly tier2        candidates

Next, Neeku contract jobs matrame interview calls vasthayi 95% of the time.

Next vachi, ikkada nuvvu permanent job cheayali anteclient should sponsor you. Nuvvu picha thopu aithe thappa sponsor cheyadu. In general, 5% chances anthe.

4) Basic cost-------£600 for 3 years tier2 application /£1000 for 5 years tier2 application + £200 for COS generation

Adhi kaka megathadhi megathaadhi depends upon your dealings with consultancy.

(on an avearge £5000 avachu depends upon your dealing)

5) If you are really experienced (min 6 yrs)

Some of the deals with tier 2 consultancies in the market

£4000-£8000 + 15%-20% of your salary (when you get job) + taxes

or

£0-£3000 + 30%-35% of your salary + taxes

like pentaya said I too dont recommend tier 2 visa.

Happy ga US vellochu. Nenu kuda tier2 lo unna  .Searching for jobs.  Tier2 vallaki tight gaane undhi

Needhi chaala rare skill set, market lo dhorakatam chaala kastam anukunte try chesuko. But still if you are well settled in India with good job ayina vaddhu. Naaku thelisina vallu kontha mandhi ela vachi  job raak india ki velli poyaru.

Inka oka advice ---- If you really want to come and if you are married nee wife ki tier 2 visa vesi nuvvu dependent gaa ravachu. tier2 dependents have no work restrictions and can do both permanent and contract jobs. And generally salary baagane untadhi

Come on guys share your answers and knowledge everything that you know about UK Tier 2 Visa.

My answers are almost SAME as put forwarded by Pentayya.

1. Howz job scene in UK.

Howz, whatz, Gutz, Galz ....do not work here. You should be work smart and think smart. The market is very very good especially for IT (due to several Billions of Pound Currency they printed last year). Next year is expected to be better but the balloon may burst anytime as all the growth is centered around London Housing market.

2. Tier2 consultants.....

Yeah. Plenty. Almost all of the charge some where between 3k-4k for whole processing. Dont expect any accommodation from them as housing is the most costliest thing in South of England (where IT jobs are plenty if they are what you are looking for).

3. No problems to be frank, you can go back to India at any time by simply booking a Tube Ticket to Heathrow, if things are not as you like them to see.

4. Fully depends on your situation and depends on how desperate you are as seen from consultants eyes.

5. They want you to be very desperate.  The clue is dont expose yourself too much. If you do, then they will milk you with both the hands.

Initially it will be a lot painful even to eat 1 Pound McD Fries as you question yourself why Ic should spend 100 Rs on bloody fries which we do not even like to look at in India.

PS: There is an impending danger here, CBN is on fire and as you know Fire fires like Fire, the Barclays, the Lloyds, and the Likes are planning to shift the HQuarters to would Capital of Andhra in which case all Bolls are cut by Darrens Knife.
