Chandrasekhar Rao to tour the United Kingdom. Mr. Byles who was on a private tour to the district on Wednesday, visited the historic Thousand Pillar Temple and the Bhadrakali shrine with his family. Speaking to the media, he said he was actively involved in the conduct of Bathukamma and Sankranti festivals. Kakatiya splendour He said he was amazed at the architectural splendour of monuments of the Kakatiya era and was happy to visit the heritage city. The State government should preserve and protect the cultural heritage of Telangana. Mr. Byles said his country had in the past invited TDP leader N. Chandrababu Naidu, who he called a visionary leader. Mr. Byles represents North Warwickshire in the British Parliament. He patronises the UK Telugu Association, promoting their conduct of Telugu festivals.
