yah that is also one advantage...and also companion pass which is really good, if you are married..

Anta correct ee BUT ticket points tho nee kaadu, regular cash tho book chesina kooda companion ki ticket vastundi.

Apart from that, some useful tips:

1. To get the 50K on each card you will have to spend 2K each. So in the process of meeting minimum spend, 4000 points vastayi. So you will be left with 6000 points more to get to the companion pass.

2. This is the BEST time to get Companion Pass (CP), because the time, when your SW Account hits 110K points you get companion pass for the rest of that year and all of next year. So if you leverage the schedule correctly, you can get the CP good for almost 2 years. 

Say if you apply for 2 cards now and meet the spend reqs (2K+2K), you will get 104K points at the end of the billing cycle from now which would almost be the first week of January. So whenever you spend the remaining 6K and the cycke ends your companion pass will start active. If you apply now  your CP starts from Feb 1st week 2015 and is valid till 2016 Dec 31st. That is how you achieve almost 2 years.

3. You should specify the details of CP in your account. You can take only THAT companion but not whomever you want. However, you can make changes to the Companion info 3 times. This is a companion pass but not a Buy One Get One Pass.
