Please start your week with a good thing and donate for these needy indians.

Five engineering graduate students from Texas A&M were on their way back Sunday night from enjoying their Thanksgiving break in New Orleans, LA. Their sedan crashed head on into a pickup truck, which veered into their lane, on the dark roads in Montgomery County.

The pick-up truck came over the double yellow line that separates the two lanes on this highway; however, the student driving the car was not successful to veer out of the pick-up truck's path - there was no alcohol or drugs involved. The sedan was so badly wrecked that it took emergency workers almost half an hour to cut all the students out of what was left of the car.

The five students, Pranan Kannan (22), Akshay Jain (22), Chiranjibi Boere (23), Shachit Iyer (23), and Kishan Bajaj (24), were taken to close by hospitals - Life Flight helicopters took two to hospitals. The driver, Pranan Kannan, is in stable condition at Kingwood Hospital. The student in the passenger seat, Akshay Jain, is in Houston at Memorial Hermann Hospital in very critical condition. All of these graduate students are from India and came to the United States to study engineering at Texas A&M.

These students are alone in critical condition at these hospitals because their parents are unable to afford to come to the United States to see their children. These funds are to hopefully get their parents here or to help with their medical bills.
