timmy Posted December 9, 2014 Author Report Posted December 9, 2014 Hyderabad, Dec 9: In an open letter to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, YSRCP President YS Jaganmohan Reddy requested the later to place in the upcoming Assembly Session on December 18 the details on actual receipts and expenditure for the the financial period April-November 2014-15 on the lines of the Union Government. Jaganmohan Reddy further wrote that since the entire accounting system in the state is computerized, there should be no problem for the state government to provide item-wise details on Tax and Non-tax revenues, net Loans raised, non-debt receipts, the revenue deficit, the fiscal deficit and also actual expenditure incurred on Plan and Non-plan expenditure till November 2014. He further requested the chief minister to provide details on the number of students enrolled under the tuition fees reimbursement scheme, number of weaker section houses taken up for construction, number of pensioners deleted from June this year and the performance as regards the MNREGA programme in the state. Similarly, he said he wants a detailed status report on the Hudhud cyclone, about the extent of damage, the actual expenditure incurred by the state government on input subsidies, compensation to the affected persons, especially to the farmers and artisans. The YSRCP leader further requested Chandrababu to provide the status on issues like Special Status for Andhra Pradesh, Union government meeting the resources gap from report, extension of Fiscal Incentive Package for industrial development and grant of Bundelkhand type of package for Rayalaseema and North Coastal AP. Stating that without these details, the upcoming session will just be a ritual, Jagan said, "I hope you will agree with me."
