Hello all,

Suggestions kavali bhayyas.. Nenu contractor ga work chesthunna.. I-140 approve ayyi 1 year ipoindhi.. H1 2 years done out of 6..  ippudu full time offer confirm indhi.. good company..  good pay .. manchi location .. But, chaala mandhi em antunnaru ante.. this is not the right time to switch employer based on Obama's executive action.

Ippudu nenu employer switch ithe, PD retain cheskovachu.. but I have to restart my GC process from scratch!! so malli naa new i-140 approve ayyesarike min 1 and half year ithadhi. And the other disadvantage is my wife may not get work authorization if I switch employer..

From what I head, with Obama policy, there are chances I might get an EAD or I might have the flexibility of switching employer in I140..so that I don't have to restart my GC process.

So, please suggest me if I should accept the new job or let it go! Any help is really appreciated.

if you think the new job is really good and add more comfort to your personal life then just take it and make sure your old employer wont cancel your i-140

ee executive order i dont see any where there is no valid steps or data stating when its going to implemented. its just an imaginative story . some are saying it takes 6 months to implement and some says it takes min 1y-2y.

end of the day its ur decesions but inta varaku indians ki helpful ayye things implement avvadam choodaledu only bolt petteve like emp-emp relation ship and visa stampings tightening ilantive choosanu

u shud consider that "he said he 'll make things easier for people whose LPR application is pending" that really doesnt mean granting an EAD.....several law firms interpreted that way but he can also clear this huge backlog to directly approve green cards and make it easy for other sin the line instead of an EAD immediately after i-140 approval......ultimately decision will come from DOS and DHS sitting toegether and discussing....how to make it easy

Thanks a lot all for the replies..

Well, this is a not the client I am working now. The only way I am looking at this right now is to check if the new employer can put this position on hold for 2-3 months..which is highly unlikely.. and so was scratching my head on how to go with this..
