So many angles to this Story and dates back to 1971 (during the peak of the Cold War)

 

Reason - I

On too much pressure from Indira Gandhi, the then US President and Home Secretary Henry Kissinger rejected idea to invade Bangladesh (occupied by Paki at that time) and called Indira Gandhi a bi-tch and described Indians as beggars.

Indira did not care and ordered Sam Maneckshaw, one of the only 2 Field Marshalls of India, to attack Pak occupied Bangladesh where 3 million people (a majority of Hindus) were butchered and raped.

 

Then USA decided to attack India with Atom Bomb. Then came the BEST FRIEND of India - the then USSR,

USSR warned US of A with Atomic Treatment if ever USA even thought of attacking India and pointed nuclear misiles at Washington.

With bankruptcy of thoughts, USA allowed India to teach a lesson to Pakistan and India entered the War in December, 1971 and finished the war within 9 days and tonsured 90,000 Paki soldiers and gave them back.

 

Then onwards the Russia-India friendship stregnthened further. But due to a recent surge in freindly relations of India with the West (means USA and Western Europe), Russia is a bit -worried now because India is still the largest importer of weapons from Russia

 

Reason - II

USA's fracking Industry is successful and by 2029, USA wants to be a net exporter of energy which means almost all the oil exporting nations (OPEC) will soon become beggars.

So countries like Russia, Iran, Saudi already developing too much friendship with India as India will be the only market for them. Especially Iran wants a good relation wth India as during the last 5 years when USA banned Iran from selling oil and aborted all its Dollar Transactions, India put forwarded a scheme called "Food for Oil" - where India send food and Iran sends oil without even needing any Dollars.

That Henry Kissinger was a Jew. In 1971 the Jews (read as Israel) did not care for India as it was a minor Economy that time.

But with recent India's success in Economic front, every wants India.

 

Saudi, Iran, Iraq - for want of a good market for their oil when USA becomes net exporter of oil by 2029

Israel - learnt the mistake and wants India's support to combat terrorism

Russis - to renew old friendship and stregthen further - also Oil exports

USA - as everybody knows, I do not need to explain it here.

UK,Germany,France, Italy plus EU - same as USA

Japan - IT plus food imports

Australia, Canada etc - same as above

 

Thats why India will have a bright future in the near future.

Russia needs markets for selling it's defence products and Oil...and India is market

Also russia wants India's support to check China and USA (and India's support in other International forums like UN,G20 etc)

India needs russia's support to deal with USA,China,Pakistan etc and to establish itself in the region..and also in Defence and Space research

 

These agreements are for 'what I give and what you will do in rturn '
