You are NOT investing in GOLD ,but the compnaies that mine for Gold..if the gold rate falls down..these companies MAY close thier business and return the mining rights to the government (as they need to pay fee to Govt for leasing the land )..also they need to pay rents ,interests ,salaries etc ..
If many cmining companies close a=or do not do business,teh fudn will not perform and so will be your investment !
