Vaadiki open card A vasthe...he will give an option of insurance. Its upto you to insure or not. If you decide to insure, he will take half amount of your total wager(its like your wager+half the amount of your wager). These are the chances

If his other card is 10, j, k or q - blackjack for him

1. if you have insured. - He will return all your amount (including the insurance amount). If you also have a blackjack, you will give your wager, your insurance and winning amount (which is normally 1.5 times).

2. if you haven't insured - you will loose your amount. If you have a blackjack, you will get your wager amount back (no winning amount) - (But a few clubs pay the winning amount irrespective of whether they have blackjack or not,)

 

- If his other card is not 10, j, k or q

 

He will take that half amount. You will never get that half amount. And you both carry on with the game as usual.
