Idedho gammathu gaa kothaga unda neeku

there is nothing to LOL , Christmas ki  santa ki emaathram religious sambanadam ledhu, its just a custom born out of publicity and made a ritual in the coming years by commercial engine of west

You may have done your nephew a bit of good by bursting her bubble  about santa but the best would have been u helping her do something good for those who dont have means to provide themselves on the christmas

what about Muslims of India albeit a few fire crackers on diwali or bustling muslim communities of Hyderabad flying kites  on Sankrathi eve.

both of which are Hindu festival related traditions

Dont sandbox urself man.

what? lol again.

so you think its a good idea to first burst her bubble, and then reinforce the importance of the day by indulging in charity. I don't.

what I said applies to Hindus/Muslims/Xians.

i just realized something after reading all your posts in this thread

its just amazing how you contort things to suit your point

I also make fun of white people who dress up like Hindus and attempt to teach me Gita.

Wow Really U  got some real Nads hanging down there

you can't be a Hindu and respect/celebrate other's beliefs. Its just dishonest. Is that what you want to teach your kids?

One destination/truth, many paths to it  is what hinduism preaches at its core. So you've definitely got some reading to do

the question is, why does hindu waste his time trying to learn other religions, when the time should be spent in questioning his own.

perhaps he is just curious, wait is he not meant to be ?

best example is, a Hindu trying to teach a fanatic Muslim about how Quran doesn't teach violence. It always cracks me up.

You made the point much clear , a fanatic as u labeled will not ever budge from his intense uncritical devotion to his beliefs

and that's a bad thing?

yeah, so it makes great sense to consider Jesus/Allah as just another god, when they themselves are uncomfortable at that description.

How popular was Gandhi among muslims?

he has not yet mastered and accepted/rejected his own religion. What's he going to do learning other religions?

or haven't hindus got the memo that this is 21th century, and one is more than free to give up a religion, without being interested in another?

my point was slightly different. I was making fun of the hopeful Hindu who thinks he can make that fanatic see the evil of his ways, by quoting from a scripture that the Hindu thinks he understands sufficiently.

Funny are the ways of Hindus. No other religious group comes close enough to shooting themselves in the foot.
