Yes, oil price decrease doesn't necessarily imply an upcoming recession....

all recent decreases are mostly related to decrease in CRUDE OIL PRICEs, Energy sector is taking a bit hit right now. Then there is fed n its agenda for interest hike, global economy is not good including, russia, Japan. Most of OPEC countries r in serious trouble because of decrease in oil prices as they rely on oil prices to balance their budget aka oil is therir biggest export.

 

In a way it is really good because stock market is overdue for correction, most of the S&P r overrated right now. if you really want to invest go for oil companies but you may want to hold on a bit more as oil is going to go down further. This is just the begining, next 3 months lo really picture vasthadhi baytakee, :3D_Smiles_38:

till 2010 i belive, most of the oil was supplied by OPEC coutnries but recently USA found lot of oil in north dokata called shale or something which led to usa not importing any oil, china is not improting much oil b/c of their econ. so countries fighting among themselves for market share adhi matter.

Combo of Dropping Oil Prices + Weak EU Economy (Except Germany).. US Ippati varaku Ayithe baghane Perform chestundhi becauz of Strong Dollar/Gud Jobs Report blah blah. but Not Sure abt da Future beacause all the Major Ecomies are Tied to each other - if One goes down it takes other too..;)

OPEC(The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries),  reducing/cut-off the production of crude oil, as usa is digging for more shale oil wells, which effects American mutual funds full of Exxon or Chevron stock fall.

 

drilling of new wells needs investment..

 

 

Adam Longson, analyst at Morgan Stanley, agreed the lack of investment could push prices much higher in 2017 and 2018. Some international projects that were supposed to be developed are expensive and may be mothballed, meaning that when demand rises, supply might not be able to keep up. That could cause prices to rise sharply.
