It's been two days music director Chakri died and his fans and film industry are yet to come to terms with the untimely loss, the latest news of fight within Chakri's family has caught his fans off-guard. According to media reports, property disputes have arose within the late music director's family. Chakri's mother, sisters and his relatives are allegedly tormenting Chakri's wife Sravani for property. This is not all.

Chakri's family members are apparently blaming Sravani for Chakri's death and levelling allegations that she had "killed" her husband. Chakri's wife Sravani, who is already devastated with his death, is shocked with the latest torture by Chakri's mother and his sisters. With this she lodged a complaint in Human Rights Commission (HRC) stating that she has life-threat from her in-law's family. She said, "I've lodged case fearing any trouble from them in future as they spreaded rumours that I'm responsible for Chakri's death. Why will I kill Chakri whom I've loved so much?" She added that money is least important to her and she claimed she has plans to take care of Chakri's brother and mother too.

Chakri and Sravani had married (love marriage) ten years ago against to wishes of their family members. Since then, Chakri's family were apparently unhappy with Sravani and not so bonded well with her. Recently, Chakri's mother and his brother were staying away from Chakri's house separately.

Allegation is that Chakri's mother and sisters locked all cupboards and even took his debit cards, cheque books, jewellery, Chakri's rings, chains, other ornaments before flocking to Film Chamber.

Although Sravani hasn't eaten anything, her mother-in-law and sister-in-law hardly cared about her and it's learnt that she hasn't even had clothes as cupboards were locked. In fact, Sravani was reportedly suffering from fits for the past two days. When media contacted Sravani, she said she can't respond now as she is still in shock and said she'd open up after 11th day rituals with tear-filled eyes.
