Bhayyas nenu going to India this weekend. Akkada karchulaki planning to take 1000 dollars... Who will give me the best exchange rate.... Pls help

airport lo worst conversion rate.. aina 1000 convert cheste u will 60k INR in liquid cash but you are only allowed to travel with 25k INR cash... immigration forms fill chesteppudu e details adugutaru

if u prefer.. convert half at airport in case you need some INR immediately after landing.. say, like taking a cab/taxi from airport to wherever u want to go

when they say maximum allowed INR amount is a certain amount.. they also mean its equivalent in other currencies also combined

sometimes you can manage but as someoneelse suggested, take part of the money in travellers cheques
