Clean and season at the same time. Cleaning a dirty grill before a barbeque can be easier than you think. Cut a white onion in half and place it on a fork. Rub the onion back and forth on the dirty, heated grill and watch how easily it cleans. For an added bonus, the onion will give your next meal a little extra flavor.

If you need to clean the vents in your house, place a towel on a butter knife. Place the knife through each of the different slits and allow the butter knife to clean.

If you need bring old leather to life, use shoe polish. Simply wipe shoe polish on the leather and watch it look new all over again.

Grapefruit Bathtub Cleaner

If you have a nasty ring around the tub, you can cut the grapefruit in half and sprinkle some salt on the half. Sprinkle more salt on the bottom of the bathtub and then run some water inside of the tub. Use the grapefruit to scrub the bathtub allowing the grapefruit juice to get all over the surface. Rinse and enjoy.

Instantly Clean Blinds

Old sock, new blinds. Put an old sock on your hand and dip it in a mixture of water and vinegar. All you have to do next is wipe each blind with the sock and watch how easy it is to get them clean again.

Boozy Bed

Not cranberry and vodka but mattress and vodka! Pour some vodka in a spritz bottle and lightly spray your mattress with it. The alcohol content in the vodka will disinfect the bacteria that causes odor and disinfect the mattress. After you spray the mattress, allow it to air dry before putting the sheets on comforter back on the mattress. Add some scented oils to the mix to

Foil Stubborn Dish Stains

If you have a meal that is lingering in your glass dish that just won’t leave, show them the aluminum. Take some aluminum and wad it up into a ball. Wipe the glass dish with the aluminum ball and some dish soap and you’ll be able to get your dishes clean again.

Iron Stain Lifter

If you have a random stain on your carpet, spray it with water and vinegar. Place a wet towel over the spot and put a hot iron on top. Allow the iron to sit on the towel for about 30 seconds. If needed, you can repeat on stains that are being stubborn.

Washing Dishwasher

Clean your cleaner! The dishwasher occasionally needs to be cleaned too but it would be quite tedious to sit and wipe everything down. Instead, run the cycle on the hottest cycle of water while a cup of vinegar is on the top rack. Next sprinkle some baking soda on the bottom and run the dishwasher again on a short hot cycle.

Easy Silver Polish

Instead of polishing your silver by hand, place it aluminum foil lined bowl or tray. Then add equal parts salt and baking soda depending on how much silver you're polishing, around half cup should do. Fill this custom sink with water and let the silver sit in this mix for about 30 minutes.
