spidereddy Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Balakrishna: AP Capital should be named after NTR Actor politician and Hindupuram MLA Balakrishna on Thursday asked the Government to christen the AP capital city after legendary actor NTR. Speaking to Anantapuram district TDP MLAs who called on him at his residence here, Balakrishna said that the Government once proposed to name the Anantapuram district after NTR. But that was not fulfilled. "If the new capital city is named after NTR, we will withdraw the demand to name Anantapuram district after NTR. If it is not done, Hindupuram should be named after NTR when it is made a separate district in future," he reportedly told the MLAs.
