aragorn Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 whats the point of that brokerage if it is zero commission, how do they make money?
google2012 Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 whats the point of that brokerage if it is zero commission, how do they make money? So, the big questions is, how will Robinhood make money? Eventually it will charge for premium services offered to more active investors. Robinhood will also offer margin trading which allows investors to borrow money from the brokerage firm to make investments. Trading on margin comes at a cost of around 5%.
